Mind-blowing experience! The brewery and restaurants within walking distance were super convenient. We were jaw-dropped when they picked us up from the Train Station and dropped us back the next day. The laundry facilities were excellent, and our room was spotlessly clean. The owners were lovely, friendly, and welcoming, even turning on the room heating for our arrival. They thoughtfully provided an umbrella for the length of our stay. The spa bath was absolutely fabulous on a very cold day. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We were spoilt for choice with the amazing variety of Sky channels. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this place for its excellent service and value for money. Plus, being near a supermarket was a great bonus.

Although it poured with rain and we were only staying the one night, the motel was clean and comfortable with everything we required. We had a unit away from the road which helped with traffic noise.

On the whole spacious, clean, modern & had Sky tv. Enjoyed having a spa as don't have oneof these at home. The Manager was an amazing guy who was thoughtful & really looked after us.
2 things come to mind straight away. 1) my wife slipped over hopping out of the spa shower box as the shower mat slipped from under her. She hurt her shoulder. It is a big step down & you are wet - recommend a small hand rail so people feel secure getting out. (Wife's age 52 yrs old & she is fit.) 2) that is the smallest toilet I have ever seen & suggest it would not meet legal specifications. We learnt to use the toilet with the door open or too difficult to get out afterwards.

We stayed at a comfortable and functional 2-bedroom apartment at Gables Motor Lodge. It was within walking distance to shops and the Monteith Brewery, which made it convenient for lunch or dinner. the hosts, Ian and his partner, were very helpful and nice. They even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus terminal the next morning. the room itself was spacious, clean, and modern, providing us with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the BBQ outside to cook the mussels we collected from the beach. it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely choose to stay at Gables Motor Lodge again. Cons: Nothing all good 😊.

Although on a busy main road (with little traffic in the night) our room was quiet and comfortable
Motel is located rather far from restaurants, cafes; but good restaurant for dinner in nearby hotel

During my recent stay at this accommodation, I was impressed with the level of comfort and cleanliness at Gables. The central location made it convenient, especially since I was attending a nearby event. The warm and cute receptionist instantly made me feel at home, and the layout of the room was perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gables to others seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I had a fantastic experience and would love to have stayed longer. being on a limited income, I had to consider the cost factor when choosing accommodation.

Terrific location, easy walk to town, slightly longer for train station. Hotel owners very nice, very accommodating, even took us to the train station. Hotel room very large and loaded with appliances, two bedrooms, good beds. Very clean.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provided valuable recommendations for our activities. The spacious apartment was perfect for our family, with a comfortable bed, large television, and plenty of lighting. The convenient parking right in front of our accommodation was a bonus. The hotel's location was ideal, close to everything we needed, including a supermarket. The amenities provided, such as ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities, enhanced our comfort. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the garden furniture allowed us to stay connected and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Despite the late hour of our arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception and given asuper clean and cozy room. The location was convenient, with a supermarket nearby and restaurants just a short drive away. The best part was that the operators of the motel were very good too ensure our satisfaction. When my wife accidentally threw out her dental retainer, they actually retrieved it from the garbage and mailed it to us. That level of dedication and hospitality impressed me.

The accomadations were very clean, centrally located (walking distance to church and some shopping). the staff were very freindly and helpful, including the sweet friendly dog that came by for a visit one morning :).
We fixed our own breakfast in the morning - it would be nice to have a little exhaust fan over the stove.
